The Roughneck Long Handle Digging Spade is ideal for serious gardening, landscaping and building. The long fibreglass handle offers increased leverage when moving dirt. So you can dig with less strain than a conventional spade. The long shaft gives a more comfortable, upright position when digging, reducing back strain. Dig garden ponds, create planting beds or excavate areas for a deck with less effort. Foot treads on the top of the blade allow extra force to be applied with body weight. This means soil and stones can be moved efficiently.
Made to last, the spade is built from heavy duty, carbon steel with a Power Ring Socket. The tumble, lacquered finished blade will resist corrosion and stay strong for many years. The Power Ring socket is a steel reinforced plug that provides stronger blade to handle connection. Where most spades would break over time this Roughneck Spade is reinforced for hard work.
